Hey everyone!
I'm sorry I didn't post in a while, but after I got back from the US, I had to do some school stuff and relax a little :) But now I'm back and I hope, I'll be able to post more regularly!

So I thought I'd start with a littleVictoria's Secret haul! I bought the three body sprays in Philadelphia and the little make-up bag in New York. By the way- it was absolutely amazing! Met soo many awesome people and had a lot of fun!

So I can't decide which one I like best, I love them all! 'Secret Escape' has 'sheer freesia and guava flowers' in it, 'Paradise' smells like 'coconut water and star fruit' and 'Escape' smells like 'dragon fruit and amber'. Also they all have aloe vera in them. I admit, that they smell like alcohol the first few seconds, but then they're absolutely amazing! I use them mostly after I get out of the shower and it makes you feel even more fresh and clean.

I instantly fell in love with this bag and since I have a lot (!) of make-up I thought 'why not?'. And I certainly don't regret it. They had many different sizes as well.

Hope you have an awesome day!

the present for my hostfamily

When I flew to the US I wanted to give my hostfamily a present, that represents German culture and sweets. The next bigger city I live by is Lübeck, which is famous for its marzipan. Of course I had to take some of it with me! I'm also very lucky, because the town I live in has its own chocolate (and it's really very small)! So I bought some of that, too. And some German sweets had to be in there as well! So I got some 'Kinder Schokolade', 'Rittersport' and 'Lindt' (actually Swiss, still super tasty though haha). Last, but not least 'The little German cookbook', which is so cute! It comes with a red bow and is very small, but I think that's perfect for such a present.

'Niederegger Marzipan' Yum!

I think my favorite would have to be 'Kinder Schokolade'. Brings back so many memories!

Such a cute little book! Cookbooks are always a great idea, when you want to give something nice and cultural to your hostfamily.

I hope this was a little inspiration, if you're also visiting another country and don't know, what to give your hostfamily. Have you ever been a part of an exchange and what did you give your hostfamily?

my favorite perfumes

Perfumes are the most important accessories for women and men I think. They just make you like or dislike someone by simply smelling their perfume. Do you know what it feels like when someone, who smells really good walks by? Or the perfume of your crush- the smell is just addictive.

I wanted to show you my favorite perfumes today.

'Marine Groove' by ESCADA is my absolute favorite! As you can see, it's completely empty and that has a reason. It smells like an elegant summer day (best description ever). I honestly am not the best at describing scents, but I'd say this one is light, but not too natural, sweet and fruity, but not too overpowering. The scent just instantly caught me... I will definitely have to buy a new one, though I think it can only be bought on Amazon (at least in Germany).

Another perfume I'm in love with is 'Midnight Rose' by Trésor. It reminds me a bit of Marine Groove (which is propably why I bought it), but much more grown up and sexy. It is still floral and fruity, but not as sweet. Definiteley more an evening perfume, which is what it is for me.

I've also been thinking about buying 'Joyful' by ESCADA. It's a more floral parfumes with some fruity parts in it, but I'm not sure yet.

Do you have any perfume favorites?

it's the simple things

Though we never really act like it, it's the simple things in life, that make us smile. And we should be thankful for them. Of course the new car is awesome and winning the lottery even more, but what would life be without the birds in the morning, the cup of hot chocolate or the sunshine on your skin? (yes, cheesy, I know) So why not be thankful for what you have, because other people can only dream about all of this. I noticed, that I often take things for granted so today I want to be just thankful :)

Have an amazing day!!

new shoes

I bought new shoes a couple days ago, because I needed some for prom in the US (soo cool haha, I love exchanges!). My dress is light blue, so I wanted light shoes as well. Something white or silver would be perfect. I ended up with these and I like them a lot.

They have a small heel, but are not too high (I still have to be able to walk in them!) and small platforms, which is great since I'm very short.

Have you ever been to prom and what kind of shoes did you wear?

yummy

Today I wanted to share with you a rather simple, yet delicious recipe. I call it the casserole-toast!
All I did was beat an egg and dip the toast in it. Then put some spinach on top, salt, pepper or any seasoning you like, one tomato and then sprinkle some mozzarella or gouda on top. Then you only have to put it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until the egg is completely cooked and the cheese is golden brown. Finished!

Hope you enjoy!
